Background story:
Mel arrives at Lindblum at age 5, and is founded by Rose, a mercenary who works for Cid. She raised Mel and taught her the lifestyle of a mercenary.[Since that's all Rose knew.]
She was trained intensely by Rose.
Personality:
Mel is a friendly girl who is quiet, but when something needs to be said, she's the one doing it. She's very determined, and isn't judgmental.
On the bad side, she's quick to anger, and becomes a total bitch when completely pissed off. She usually just attacks instead of talking it out, and sometimes it gets her in trouble.
She is friendly, but she has a couple of trust issues since she's always alone. This changes when she travels with everyone.
